Questo sito l’ho aperto per fare vedere i miei quadri. Girando nel 2009 per il MiArt, la fiera delle gallerie di arte contemporanea quando facevo vedere i miei lavori tutti mi dicevano: “Ci mandi le immagini per Internet”. Mi è sembrato giusto, e visto che ci sono ne approfitto per dare visibilità ad altri miei hobby, passioni e lavori. Mentre scrivo queste parole di introduzione ho quasi 60 anni, e da un anno mi sono scoperto pittore. Non solo, ho scoperto anche che riesco a vendere le mie opere. La cosa importante è che mi facciano ridere mentre le eseguo e che facciano ridere chi le vede. Nella mia vita ho fatto diversi mestieri e per rispetto del mio tempo mi fa piacere esibire i risultati che ho ottenuto, “for the record”. Se poi le mie capacità interessano a qualcuno, tanto meglio. |
I have opened this site to show my paintings. When in 2009 I went to Mi Art the fair for contemporary art galleries in Milano, when I showed my work everybody told me “ Send us your images on the Internet”. It was good advice and while I am at it I might as well cram in some info on other hobbies, work and passions. At the moment of writing these wors I am almost 60 and about a year ago I discovered that I could paint and sell my paintings. As a rule I judge the result satisfactory if the pant make people laugh when they see it and if it has made me laugh while creating it. In my life I got involved in many activities and as a form of respect for the time spent in learning I think it is right that I write about them just for the record. If as a result somebody gets interest in my capabilities it will be a welcome fringe benefit. |
